CTI Bursaries 2020 for Undergraduate and Postgraduate

CTI Bursaries 2020 covers both CTI Education Group teaching, undergraduates, honors and 2020 Bursaries postgraduates.

 

The CTI Education Group, CTI 2020 Bursaries Application Form has been released by the Management and is available for receiving applications. The CTI offers bursaries, assists these financially needy students with a bursary to cover the shortfall.

Read carefully the guidelines and criteria that will be requested of You during application.

Required documents

The following documents are required:

  • Copy of ID
  • Proof of household income
  • Parents IDs (for dependent applicants)
  • Academic record

Criteria for CTI Bursary Application

The qualifying criteria for CTI Bursaries are as follows:

  • Applicants must be registered for the Bachelor of Accounting Sciences in Financial Accounting or Advanced Diploma in Accounting Sciences – CTA (98302 or 98230) in the first semester of 2020.
  • Applicants must be South African citizens.
  • Applicants must be unemployed.
  • Applicants’ combined annual household income must be below R600 000.
  • Applicants must not be recipients of another bursary/grant scheme (including NSFAS).
  • Applicants’ academic performance will be considered.
  • The bursary is for the first semester only (students on new year modules curriculum are welcome to apply).

CTI Merit Bursary

Bursary conditions

  • Students must have obtained an average of at least 75% and above in their previous year of study.
  • The bursary is only awarded to South African citizens registered for a formal qualification in any discipline at CTI .
  • The bursary covers tuition fees and prescribed textbooks only.
  • Awards will only be made if there is sufficient funding.
  • Students who received the bursary in 2019 do not need to apply. Such students must, however, meet the 75% average to be considered for the bursary in 2020.

Transport Education Training Authority bursaries

The Transport Education Training Authority awards bursaries annually for studies aligned to critical and scarce skills identified in the transport sector. Bursary awards are categorised according to sector requirements, with due consideration of the National Skills Development Strategy III, compiled by the Department of Higher Education and Training

CTI Postgraduate BUSARIES 2020: Masters

Requirements

The following requirements are for master’s degrees by dissertation, doctoral studies and for the experimental research bursary:

  1. A completed and approved research proposal module at CTI (please note that this bursary does not cover the research proposal module).
  2. A supervisor’s report for both first-time bursary applicants and re-applying students, which recommends financial support on the basis of quality submissions (eg research chapters submitted, data analyses).
  3. Approval by the Master’s and Doctoral Research Bursary Committee (MDRBC) based on academic progress, standard of work submitted, prioritisation of research fields, innovative specialisations and appropriate methodology.

CTI Doctoral Bursaries

Requirements
