The University of Namibia is inviting suitably qualified candidates to apply for the vacant position of Chief Buyer, Office of the Bursar, Procurement Section, Windhoek Main Campus.

Job Summary:
Supervise and manage the procurement section and procurement officers, establish and maintain good supplier relations, assist with development and reviewing of procurement policies, assist with budget control and procurement processes and ensure that it is aligned to the Public Procurement Act and perform any other duties as may be required.
Requirements:
Degree in Supply Chain Management / Accounting / Business Administration with at least six (6) years related experience within the Procurement and Supply Chain Management environment of which three (3) years should be at a senior level. Extensive knowledge and exposure to the Public Procurement Act, Act 1 of 2015
