TUT Scholarships 2020: Tshwane University of Technology

TUT Scholarships 2021 covers both Tshwane University of Technology teaching, undergraduates, honors and 2021 Scholarships postgraduates.

 

The Tshwane University of Technology, TUT 2021 Scholarships Application Form is not yet released by the Management and is available for receiving applications 2021/2022. The TUT offers Scholarships, assists these financially needy students with a Scholarship to cover the shortfall.

Criteria for TUT Scholarship Application

The qualifying criteria for TUT Scholarships are as follows

DISCLAIMER: What is found here is principles for TUT 2020 scholarships or other preceding years, and We believe the same principles will be followed in 2021 as the 2021 scholarship is not yet out.

  • Applicants must be registered for the Bachelor of Accounting Sciences in Financial Accounting or Advanced Diploma in Accounting Sciences – CTA (98302 or 98230) in the first semester of 2021.
  • Applicants must be South African citizens.
  • Applicants must be unemployed.
  • Applicants combined annual household income must be below R600 000.
  • Applicants must not be recipients of another Scholarship/grant scheme (including NSFAS).
  • Applicants’ academic performance will be considered.
  • The Scholarship is for the first semester only (students on new year modules curriculum are welcome to apply).

TUT Merit Scholarship

Scholarship conditions

  • Students must have obtained an average of at least 75% and above in their previous year of study.
  • The Scholarship is only awarded to South African citizens registered for a formal qualification in any discipline at TUT.
  • The Scholarship covers tuition fees and prescribed textbooks only.
  • Awards will only be made if there is sufficient funding.
  • Students who received the Scholarship in 2019 do not need to apply. Such students must, however, meet the 75% average to be considered for the Scholarship in 2021.

Transport Education Training Authority Scholarships

The Transport Education Training Authority awards Scholarships annually for studies aligned to critical and scarce skills identified in the transport sector. Scholarship awards are categorised according to sector requirements, with due consideration of the National Skills Development Strategy III, compiled by the Department of Higher Education and Training

TUT Postgraduate BUSARIES 2021: Masters

Requirements

The following requirements are for master’s degrees by dissertation, doctoral studies and for the experimental research Scholarship:

  1. A completed and approved research proposal module at TUT (please note that this Scholarship does not cover the research proposal module).
  2. A supervisor’s report for both first-time Scholarship applicants and re-applying students, which recommends financial support on the basis of quality submissions (eg research chapters submitted, data analyses).
  3. Approval by the Master’s and Doctoral Research Scholarship Committee (MDRBC) based on academic progress, standard of work submitted, prioritisation of research fields, innovative specialisations and appropriate methodology.

TUT Doctoral Scholarships
