Job Summary:
The Senior Manager of Community Engagement will be responsible for handling the community relations in accordance with local government guidelines; develop strategy and tactics working with Community Advisory Board (CAB) for escalated questions or issues regarding the entire research project lifecycle; communicate with the CAB information pertaining to TB research and clinical guidelines set forth by various regulatory agencies; participate in CAB meetings and national task forces.

Requirements:
The position requires an individual with: –
A Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Public Relations, Social Science, Marketing or Business Administration
Knowledge of Tuberculosis research and programs
Knowledge of socioeconomic, institutional, and policy issues related to tuberculosis.
Demonstrated ability and leadership in partnerships among global and local stakeholders across sectors, experience interacting with U.S. Government agencies, host country governments, and other relevant stakeholders.
Demonstrated expertise in effective communication and leadership to advance country led TB research scale up through advocacy and accountability
Strong presentation/ public speaking skills and advanced written and verbal skills
Global or Regional experience
