The University of the Free State (UFS) Admissions Office will activate the Online Application Form for the 2025/2026 Academic Year on 1 April 2024, when applications officially open. For admission to the University of the Free State in 2025, applications from adequately qualified and interested applicants are invited.
The General minimum requirement for admission into the University of the Free State is a National Senior Certificate (NSC) or National Certificate: Vocational (NCV) Level 4, or an AP of 18 – 24 for admission to Bachelors Degree. Four subjects on level 3 (40%–49%). Language of instruction on level 3 (40%) for all options.
