North-West University, NWU Online registration of full-time first-year students for 2024 begins on the 22nd of January 2024. Registration deadline was fixed for 9th February 2024 before commencement of classes.
The Admissions Application Department has enabled the portal to register new students into the NWU in the 2024/2025 Academic year. All students must be registered annually as provided in the General Academic Rules, the Statute of the North-West University and the relevant provisions of the Higher Education Act.

The NWU Financial Management has announced the registration fees for new applications in 2024. International students of the North-West University must pay the full amount for their proposed study and relevant cost for the Registration to be processed.

Make direct bank deposit or electronic bank transfers can be made into any of the bank accounts of the North-West University at ABSA, First National Bank, Nedbank, Standard Bank or FNB Namibia. The pre-defined account named “NWU STUDENT” must be selected from the list of beneficiaries under ABSA’s Account Payments, FNB’s Public Recipients, Nedbank’s Bank-approved beneficiaries, or Standard Bank’s Companies list of beneficiaries. Only the student’s 8-figure university number will be accepted beneficiary reference. The relevant account numbers are:
