Nexia SAB&T seeks to appoint a dynamic individual on a fixed term contract at the National Department of Health (In Pretoria) to fill the following position:

 

 

JOB TITLE: TECHNICAL ADVISOR: HIV SELF SCREENING (REF: 07/10/20)
Remuneration: R733 27per annum

The National Department of Health (NDoH) is seeking a highly motivated individual to support the implementation and scale-up of the HIV Self-Screening testing modality. The candidate will provide technical support for planning, data collection and analysis, strategy development, developing presentations and briefings, and coordination of stakeholders.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

• Post graduate qualification in public health or relevant, MPH degree an added advantage
• Experience working in HIV testing programme is highly recommended
• Exceptional diplomatic and interpersonal skills, and ability to build strong professional relationships in a challenging and multi-cultural environment and public sector
• Ability to work independently and effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrated strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure successful support of the HIVSS program in implementing sites
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to all HIVSS programs, referrals and linkages activities
• Support provincial department of health with trainings, implementation and data reporting ad management
• Ensure that appropriate documents are available prior to implementation
• Ascertain that HIVSS reaches the targeted audiences
• Develop strong working relationships and manage NDOH key stakeholders in a total market approach
