MRM Mariakani is seeking to recruit a professional and experienced Assistant Management Accountant. The position reports to the Management Accountant.

Job Summary:
To assist in the budgetary process, product costing and overall management reports and related tasks as required by management for decision making.
1.Assist in the preparation of monthly Accounts and Supporting files
2.Assist in the preparation of Group reporting template
3.Assist in preparation of Variable costing and explain variances against budget
4.Prepare and submit Daily Sales Report and Weekly/Monthly MIS,
5.Assist in preparation of Quarterly Board packs and Group Review packs
6.Scrutinize sales invoices on daily basis to ensure correct pricing applied and correct sales quantities captured
7.Monitor expenses booking on daily basis and initiate correction process in case of errors
8.Assist in coordination of budget planning, reporting and review process
9.Timely preparation and reporting of fixed expenses against BPP and giving commentaries against variances
10.Review of inventory valuation / pricing structures in SAP and follow up for correction
11.Review Consumption analysis vs COGM to detect any errors in material confirmation
12.Update material pricing through cost run, Settle maintenance orders and communicate any variances
13.Analyse and reconcile sales report with Sales GLs to ensure complete posting
14.Prepare monthly contribution reports
Requirements:
i. Minimum academic qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (Finance/Accounting option) Finance
ii. Qualifications as an added advantage: CPA (K)/ CFA/ACCA/CA or equivalent
iii. Professional registration: ICPAK
iv. Experience required: 5 years
v. Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): 5 years
vi. Industry: Manufacturing
