What is a Matric Exemption? Scholarship Programme 2021

The What is a Matric Exemption? is currently looking to fund undergraduates looking for scholarships.

If you are planning on studying towards an undergraduate degree but did not pass matric, you will need to apply for a matric exemption through the matriculation board.

 

How To Apply

You will need to get a form called the M30e form using the following resources:

  • Admissions Offices of universities
  • Download the form from the Matriculation Board Website, by clicking here
  • Request it via an e-mail addressed to applications@usaf.ac.za
  • Request that the form is faxed to you.

To apply for. the exemption, you will need to pay the application fee for 2021 which is R610. This is non-refundable, so it is advised you take the online assessment to see if you are eligible for exemption before applying and spending R610.

 

The board will take at least 5-10 days working days to process the applications. If you qualify, a provisional letter will be sent and that letter will be able to facilitate your admission to a South African public university. This is granted that the applicant has met the requirements at the university.
