University Of Cape Town Mastercard Foundation Scholarship 2022 is currently looking to fund undergraduates looking for scholarships.
Bursary Details:
University of Cape Town (UCT) is inviting applicants to apply for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. Applications are open between July and September.
The program will provide scholarships to academically talented young Africans to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at UCT.
Closing date: 30 September 2021.

Selection criteria
- Candidates must have received a firm offer to study at UCT
- Academically talented – value learning and are driven to complete their education.
- Economically disadvantaged – facing significant financial barriers to completing their education.
- Committed to giving back – investing in their communities, using the skills and knowledge that they have acquired.
- Future leaders – committed to embracing ethical leadership and making a positive change in their home communities.
Bursary Inclusion:
Students enrolled on the Program will receive:
- Mentoring,
- Leadership development
- Academic (include tutoring, language training, writing circles and guidance counselling)
- Life skills support
