Requirements for Admission

Students wanting to study at the College should have the following available when applying:

  • Passed Grade 12 (with a pass in Mathematics and an APS score of 18)
  • Passed Grade 11 (with a pass in Mathematics and an APS score of 20)
  • Passed Grade 10 (with a pass in Mathematics and relevant technical subjects and an APS score of 22)
  • Passed Grade 10 (with a pass in Mathematics and an APS score of 22)
  • Passed Grade 9 (with a 50% pass in Mathematics and English FAL and an APS score of 24)
  • A Pre-Vocational Programme (PLP) certificate with a 50% pass in Foundational English and Foundational Life Skills and a 60% pass in Foundational Mathematics and Foundational Science. No APS score for this programme

How to Apply for Tshwane North TVET College Admission

Step 1: Do the pre-screening test

You will be requested to sign an acknowledgement that you prefer to make your own choice outside of the placement screening

Step 2: Get your application form

Birth Certificate/Identity Document (Proof of application for new ID/Passport)

Step 4: Attach all supporting documents

All applicants starting a new qualification are required to upload the following certified documents:

  •  Recent Academic results
  •  Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
  •  A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
  •  The South African Qualification Authority’s (SAQA)
  •  Evaluation Certificate (foreign qualifications)

A confirmation email will be sent to you with all the application information.
