Job Summary:
The purpose of this role is to oversee all brand activation activities to ensure optimal promotion of BevCo
brands across various marketing platforms. The role will also be responsible for contributing to the creation
of a brand activation tactics for each brand, and for ensuring its successful implementation thereof.

Key Accountabilities and Outputs:
Brand Activation:
 Contribute to the creation of a brand activation tactics and plan for each brand
 Manage and oversee all brand activation initiatives and campaigns acrosss the product portfolio
 Ensure successful implementation of the brand activation tactis for each brand using a brand
activation calendar
 Ensure self and all members of the brand activation team have deep product and customer
knowledge to ensure the creation and execution of successful and relevant brand marketing
campaigns
 Maintain and consolidate all brand activations and POS (including photos and evidence of activation
effectiveness) and communciate these to relevant parties
 Maintain POS stores and stock availability to support the regional brand activation and POS calendar
 Ensure a consistent customer experience through the successsful management of brand activation
activities
 Advise on brand activation and marketing initiatives where required
Cooler Administration
 Coordinates end-to-end cooler and asset management within the region
 Engage and take part in the regions cooler and asset validation process, as a live process, to ensure
that The Beverage Company’s coolers are continuously validated in terms of location and status
 Ensure that live cooler management systems are constantly utilised within the region (i.e. Rapid Trade
and Cooler Partner Management Systems) ensuring accuracy with cooler repairs, movement
between stores and new cooler placements
o New Coolers: Work closely with asset management and suppliers to ensure planned coolers
are placed in relevant areas, aligned to sales representative, store and geo-location
o Cooler Repair: Ensure the Logging of cooler repairs on both the cooler management system
with live reporting and event logging, as well as manually where required. The process is to
be administered from opening to close
o Movement: Ensure the coordination and logging of cooler movements, ensuring accurate
recording of final location in store (automated or manual system), always ensuring relevant
geo-locations are logged correctly
o General Trade Verification: Evaluate and verify all coolers, locations, content, merchandising
principles and evaluation of merchandising brief, within the cooler, location and in store to
provide automated reporting within the market.
 Manage key deliverables and communicate daily with the Regional Sales Manager to ensure efficient
and effective cooler management
 Ensure accurate master data management of live cooler management systems (automated and
manual)
 Utilise the cooler management systems to manage and report on coolers and ensure that all relevant
internal parties are kept updated with regards to cooler administration progress (including successes,
areas where attention is needed, as well as opportunities to explore)
 Actively provide input into the operational planning and budgeting processes
 Drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimising relevant operational practices,
processes and systems
 Ensure adherence to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards and
controls
 Control cost and take the necessary action to mitigate any financial risks or non-compliance
General Operational and People Management
 Ensure Adherence to all applicable Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Standards
 Actively participate in operational planning and reporting processes
 Drive continuous improvement through streamlining and optimising relevant operational practices,
processes and tools
 Adhere to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards and controls
 Control cost and take the necessary action to mitigate any financial risks or non-compliance, and
address variances and discrepancies
 Ensure that the right people capacity is in place and manage employee performance through effective
and goal directed people leadership

Qualifications and Experience:
 Grade 12 / Matric / NQF level 4 (Essential)
 Upto 4 years’ experience (Operational Execution)
 MS Excel; MS Word; SAP; E Mail; MS PowerPoint
