Proudly South African Internship is available in the E-commerce department. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for an internship in the eCommerce department.

The internship is a 12-month internship that will include training in the job functions of the department and it comes with a R6,000 stipend. The minimum requirements for the internship include:

  • Matric
  • N6 Certificate – Marketing Management
  • A Certificate in IT/eCommerce/Digital Marketing will be advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Adobe Photoshop/Photography course/skills will be advantageous

Internship Roles and Responsibilities

Proudly South African Internship in the E-commerce department requires these from the individual.

  • Assist in Online Store Management
  • Customer and Member Company Service and Support
  • Liaising with Service Providers and other Stakeholders
  • Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Website Optimization and User Experience (UX) improvement
  • Market Research and Competitor Analysis
  • Cross-department Collaboration
  • Support in Digital Marketing Efforts
  • Support in Content Creation and Management
  • Ad hoc duties and responsibilities assigned

Key Competencies

  • WordPress and WooCommerce experience will be advantageous
  • Ability to operate a Lightbox, Digital Camera, capture and edit product images
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as social media marketing emails and search engine optimization will be advantageous
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with good time management skills to adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels, internally and externally
  • Good facilitation and communication skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Good time-management skills
