Admission Requirements

Below are the requirements you must meet if you want to gain admission into Ann Latsky Nursing College

  • Must be a South African citizen, who resides in Gauteng Province
  • Must be in possession of one of the following school leaving certificates.
    • Senior Certificate (Standard 10)
    • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
    • National Certificate (Vocational) level 4
  • The following subject criteria are required:
    • Senior Certificate: English HG D or SG C; Biology HG D or SG C; Mathematics HG D or SG C and an M Score of 17
    • National Senior Certificate: English Level 4; Life Sciences Level 4; Mathematics Level 4 or Maths Literacy Level 5, and an APS of 27 or more (Life Orietation counts half the score)
  • Current Grade 12 learners must meet the National Senior Certificate requirements in their Grade 11 results.
    • National Certificate (Vocational) Level 4: 50% in Fundamental subjects (English First Additional Language, Maths/Literacy, Life Orientation) and 60% in the Vocational Subjects (SA Health Care System, Public Health, The Human Body and Mind and Community oriented Primary Care).

CHRIS HANI BARAGWANATH NURSING COLLEGE APPLICATION

The Institution has prepared a portal to enable candidates to apply easily online. Start with the steps listed below to begin the application process for 2023-24. Check also the list of Universities in South Africa Applications that are still open

1. Access https://nursingintake.gauteng.gov.za
2. Click on Register Profile alternatively CLICK HERE to reach the registration page
3. Fill in all the required details, making sure you leave nothing out
4. Click on log in, enter your username (ID Number) and Password
5. Click on the UPDATE RESUME to complete your details (Personal, School, Training, Work and Reference Details)
6. Once the profile is updated, click on TRAINING PROGRAMME to apply
7. Click on apply, your profile details should be displayed
8. Choose center, add all four in order of preference
9. Click on Submit
10. Please note the Own Reference Number after submitting your application
