The Central University of Technology (CUT) Application for admission to undergraduate study programmes for both South African and international citizens close on specific dates in the year preceding the year of study. The closing date for CUT Applications for 2023/2024 all selection programmes is towards the end of October. Please refer to the admission requirements before beginning the online application.
The General Requirements for Central University of Technology Applications is that a Candidate must meet a higher certificate requires a minimum APS of 15, a diploma a minimum APS of 18 and a bachelor degree a minimum APS of 21 or more (some exceptions apply).

- South African applicants will need an ID number. Foreign applicants will need their passport number.
- There are different online application portals for undergraduate and postgraduate applicants.
- First, you will need to register as a user before you can apply online.

- N qualification (TVET students)
- Students who are continuing with their studies without a gap year will be auto-promoted no need to reapply.
- Students who took a gap year and would like to continue with their studies must complete continuation form.
- Download and complete the continuation form (PDF)

You must note that If You are to submit any application to the Central University of Technology , You must do so before the closing date as stipulated by the Administrative body.
