CACH Will Help Place You in University or College Scholarship 2021

CACH Will Help Place You in University or College Scholarship Programme 2021

The CACH Will Help Place You in University or College is currently looking to fund undergraduates looking for scholarships.

If when you first applied at a university or college you weren’t accepted, you have another oppurtunity! CACH will help place you at a university or college.

Central Application Clearing House (CACH) is an integrated referral service for Post-School Education and Training institutions and students.

This service is for matriculants who qualify for university entrance (a bachelor’s pass) but have not been offered a place. As the country’s institutions of higher learning and training shift into gear for the 2021 academic year, thousands of prospective students will most definitely be looking for placement and should be turning to the Central Applications Clearing House (CACH). Through CACH, you can receive career advice, referral to other opportunities such as being referred to other universities, TVET college opportunities, artisan development opportunities and other possibilities.

CACH opens for applications on the 23 of February and they close at the end of April.

Minister of Higher Education, Blade Nzimande, in his latest briefing said:

The CACH is the first phase of what will in the future become the Central Applications Service (CAS) for the PSET system.

CAS will be piloted in 2021 for students entering higher education in 2022 and will provide a single place for applications for study spaces in PSET institutions, accommodation and funding support thought NSFAS and other schemes.

You can also contact the Department’s Career Development Service (CDS) for any possibilities available for you, on 086 999 0123.
