Job Title: Consultant Administrator – Employee Benefits
Location: Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

Job Summary:
BDO South Africa has a vacancy for a Consultant Administrator within the Employee Benefits division in our Johannesburg office for a fixed-term contract of 12 months.

Job Specifications:
•Diary Management – setting up of Annual Board of Management meetings with all parties, Investment report back etc
•Rebrokes on existing and new funds
•Liaison with consultants and assisting with the drafting of reports
•Collation and distribution of Board of Management packs for all clients
•Attendance at meetings
•Minutes taking and distribution thereof to clients
•Distribution of Information to all clients
•Liaising with planners on all members within 60 months of retirement date
•Liaising with Administration on from clients
•Collation of Powerpoint Presentations

Requirements:
Qualifications:
•B. Com or equivalent qualification – or relevant Insurance qualifications and experience

Experience:
•At least 2 years’ experience in a similar environment
•Preferably experience with medicals and rebrokes
•Desire to service companies and individual’s

Competencies:
•Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
•Strong focus on client service delivery
•Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
•Strong focus on risk processes and procedures
•Team player
•Works well under pressure
•Hands on approach

Salary is market-related and commensurate with experience.
The appointment will be made in terms of the firm’s Employment Equity Policy.
