We have an exciting opportunity at Barron for a Relationship Manager who will report to the Area Sales Manager. This position is based at our offices in Durban , KZN

Job Summary:
The purpose of the Relationship Manager is to increase the company’s market share through proactively building relationships with current and new customers, communicating campaigns and providing customised solutions through upselling and cross-selling across the different categories.

Requirements:
JOB OBJECTIVES AND FUNCTIONS:
Growing sales for customer base:
•Responsible for understanding customer’s business and identifying and preparing solutions that are catered for them by analysing
sales metrics
•Communicate new campaigns to customers and work together with the customers to identify marketing opportunities
•Meet with customers to go through spend profile and work proactively with them to find opportunities that could move the
customer into a new loyalty program level
•Conduct check-ins with customers whose spend is declining to establish the reason and to assist where possible

Customer Engagements:
•Networking & Marketing CampaignsProvide customers with training on new products
•Proactively build and nurture existing customer relationships to improve the overall customer experience
•Resolve customer queries / concerns or escalate if required

Customer Analysis (Reporting) & Complaints:
• Weekly reporting on Churn, YTD spend, monthly spend and activity report
• Resolve complaints or escalate

QUALIFICATIONS:
NQF 4Matric or Equivalent _ Essential
NQF 6Marketing/ Business Administration_Desirable

EXPERIENCE:
3-5 years’ experience as a Relationship Manager / Outbound Sales Representative

Product Knowledge-Intermediate:Essential
Sales Process-Intermediate:Essential
Sales Knowledge-Intermediate:Essential
Customer Care-Intermediate:Essential

SKILLS:
Excel-Basic: Essential
MS D365 (Sales Module)-Intermediate:Essential
Communication -Intermediate :Essential
Analytical Problem Solving-Basic:Essential
Interpersonal-Intermediate :Essential
Relationship Building-Intermediate :Essential
Professionalism-Intermediate:Essential

ADDITIONAL:
a.Valid Code 8 driver’s license
b.Must be able and willing to travel
c.Must be able and willing to work away from home
d.Flexibility with regards to working hours and travel where and when required
e.Able to work remotely and provide own Fibre internet connectivity and motor vehicle
f.South African citizen
g.Needs to have a presentable and professional image that represents the brand effectively
