Job Title: Senior Human Resources Officer (Talent / Performance Management & Employee Engagement)
Location: Barberton, Mpumalanga, South Africa

Salary: Market Related

Job Summary:
Design, lead and advise on performance management and employee engagement related activities.

Main Role Outcomes:
•Ensure the Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 (Act No.29 of 1996) safety and health standards are maintained.
•Implement and maintain talent management strategy for the company
•Implement and monitor performance management system against set targets and
competencies.
•Conduct career discussions and implement actions with all identified HiPos.
•Provide coaching to line leaders on how to conduct performance management discussions.
•Co-ordinate and support company’s Employment Equity and Skills Development Plans.
•Participate in labour planning and ensure labour is supplied in line with approved plan and
budgets.
•Ensure discipline is maintained within the organisation and manage HR Administrators daily duties.
•Review relevant employee documentation to SAGE / Payroll prior to processing through Time Management. (Transfer forms, change in rate / acting forms, all forms that require employee / organisational structure changes on SAGE)

Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
•National Diploma in Human Resources Management.
•BA/BTech: Degree in Human Resources Management and related courses will be advantageous.
•At least a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the HR related field within the mining environment
•Sage 300 People experience would be advantageous.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
•Thorough and pay attention to detail.
•Ability to work well with others.
•Computer literate (Excel, Word and e-mail).
•Good customer service skills
•Valid driver’s licence.
