Our client a Medical Aid Administrator is seeking a suitable candidate for a position within the organisation. Based in Gaborone, the organisation seeks a visionary leader who will add value, develop and drive the implementation of organisational strategy.

Salary: P 100.00 – 101.00 Monthly
The Managing Director will be responsible for all operations in compliance with goals, policies and objectives established by the Board of Directors. Directs, coordinates and administers all aspects of the organisation’s operations or subsidiary operations through subordinates. Develops corporate policies that encompass all or some areas of the organisation’s operations.
Key responsibilities include:
•Formulate the strategic framework / options for the organisation.
•Understand and resolve issues of integration between division or functional strategic imperatives and the constraints of the wider organisation’s context.
•Contribute recommendations and options to organisations strategy.
•Articulation of the division or functional component of the organisation’s strategy into a structure of human resources and targets.
•Monitor macro-economic conditions, competition and the industry in general and update the strategic framework accordingly.
•Strategic leadership of the organisation, guide and direct operational best practice and continuous improvement
•Co-ordination of all functional components of the organisation.
•Manage and develop staff through the appropriate influence and motivation of the organisational structure of human resources.
•Resolve operational conflicts across the organisation with peers and implement changing solutions within context of the medium to long term strategic intent and existing operational imperatives.
•Optimised Value Chain Deep and wide knowledge of market interests and expectations.
•Financial structure of business clearly defined and understood with agreed operational thresholds defined
•Achieve division and supply chain integration and attain product and market integration with underpinning processes to create a combined, lock-in value proposition.
•Ensures Compliance and Risk Management Legal, statutory and regulatory compliance (public accountability) maintained for division or function.
•Ensures structures and frameworks for control and governance within division or function are approved and implemented.
•Establish the organisation as a key contributor in terms of social awareness and governance of the market and the industry.
•Manage key relationships with industry stakeholders and legislative bodies.
•Expand influence of the organisation in the commercial landscape through continual awareness and influencing on future legislation that may have an impact on the business environment.
•Manage projects or initiatives for division or function assessed in terms of cost/benefit analysis and aligned to business objectives
•Ensure return on investment for shareholders, profitability and sustained economic viability for division or function.
•Maximise Shareholder Value whilst retaining the critical Company values.
•MBA Qualification or Post Graduate Qualification.
•5+ years related experience at strategic management level
